[ cf-dev ] cfsearch CFMX 6.1: Titles are Upper Case

We've encountered a strange behaviour on cfmx 6.1 indexing cfm-files. All title-tags in the documents are stored case sensitive in the verity index. When we use cfsearch to query the collection, all titles are returned upper case...
Could anyone explain this?
