I'm generating form elements on the fly on a page in JS, and I figured the easiest way to find a unique name for each form field that's added is to use a native JavaScript createUuid() or createGuid() function. Thing is, I've searched high and low and can't find one and am finding it hard to believe that it's neither something in core JS or that no-ones every needed to do the same thing.
