Hey, We had this issue the other day.....add a cfsetting at the top of the indexing page with a high requesttimeout. We found that for long running indexes the CF server was timing out the user request but not stopping the Verity part which led to a corrupt index.
I have logged this with MM as it solved our problem and comes back as soon as you take out the cfsetting. How many rows are you indexing? -----Original Message----- From: damian [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 01 July 2004 14:41 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [ cf-dev ] Verity indexing error Hi, I'm trying to index a collection and am receiving the following error: An error occurred while performing an operation in the Search Engine native library. coldfusion.tagext.lang.CFIndexTagException: Caught an unknown exception in CCFXIndex:ProcessTagRequest ..any ideas? I've been Googling and I'm picking up a possible lead on illegal chars... thanks d -- These lists are syncronised with the CFDeveloper forum at http://forum.cfdeveloper.co.uk/ Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/dev%40lists.cfdeveloper.co.uk/ CFDeveloper Sponsors and contributors:- *Hosting and support provided by CFMXhosting.co.uk* :: *ActivePDF provided by activepdf.com* *Forums provided by fusetalk.com* :: *ProWorkFlow provided by proworkflow.com* *Tutorials provided by helmguru.com* :: *Lists hosted by gradwell.com* To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] This e-mail is from Reed Exhibitions (Oriel House, 26 The Quadrant, Richmond, Surrey, TW9 1DL, United Kingdom), a division of Reed Business, Registered in England, Number 678540.
