Hmm sounds simple. If only I knew how to instigate it ....
What I have at the moment is based on the windsurfer example that comes with coldfusion server.
This system uses a button to change the quantaties. Ok at the time I guess but this is not what the client wants. Trouble is I'm not sure how to change it ...

Have a hidden I frame. When the dropdown is changed, submit the form to the iframe, thus updating the database without reloading the page :-)
