Did you pull the latest stable code from the bitbucket repositories or did you download the ziped "edison" release from the website?
A lot of the bugs in the edison release have already been fixed and a lot has changed so you should develop on the latest code, not the latest released code. there is a mail in the mailinglist archive that explains how to get the latest code. (feb 18 - Chamilo 2 Source repository changes) and again: don't put your calendar code in the login procedure, put it in an existing or a new personal calendar component. >Just in case, I reinstalled Chamilo in /localhost/chamilo/ (it was in >/localhost/ before).
