Using very new xorg code (ie after
http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/xorg-announce/2009-May/000846.html so
most/all intel-specific issues are fixed) I can reliably get wobbly windows to
freeze X.
This seems to be triggered in particular by the shiver effect, but even with
that disabled, can happen. I used shiver on window mapping for 'any' window...
so that effect got used a lot, making freezes fairly quick during regular use,
or within minutes when purposefully trying to induce a freeze.
