U can try running the Xephyr Server outside the target. Try the
following steps:
1) On your workstation terminal, outside the target, start Xephyr
$ sudo apt-get install xserver-xephyr (install if needed)
$ Xephyr :2 -host-cursor -screen 1024x600x32 -dpi 96 -ac
2) Inside target terminal, launch the UI in Xephyr window
$ export DISPLAY:=2
$ ume-xephyr-start
3) if u still face issues, in target terminal, do
$ pkill gconfd
$ ume-xephyr-start

$ xhost +SI:localuser:root
it enable access to display.
After i run the command ume-xephyr-start at target terminal the xephyr
window display for few seconds and disappears.
In terminal, it is showing the below massages.
Then run the ume-xephyr-start
