Subject: [Moblin Dev] How to interact with Hildon desktop
Dear all,
I manage to add the necessary .desktop file, icon and scripts to launch my Java
application from the Hildon desktop of UME. However, I encounter two problems:
1. After launching my app, the "Starting ..." splash screen stay in front of my
app and doesn't go away.
2. There is no icons on the top menu bar(Marquee) to allow me to switch between
applications with my mouse.
Can someone help pointing what I've missed?
Thanks,
Anthony

Hi Costas,
Thanks for your suggestion. It makes the splash screen goes away. However, it
has started a very tiny terminal on the background. And this prevents the user
from starting subsequent terminal.
