Many of the MID devices in the market are based on the Compal Jax 10, which has
two 2GB SSDs. One SSD is consumed almost entirely by system files on both
Midinux and UME. On UME, the other SSD is mounted on /mediasync and looks like
it's intended for user storage. Midinux defines a MYDOCSDIR env var that points
to /root/MyDocs directory which is mounted on the 2nd SSD and which is clearly
intended for user files.

I have two questions:

1. Is there a Moblin standard way of determining where user data should be
stored?
2. When applications get installed in /opt (as is the case with AIR
applications), there is a high probability that the system SSD will run out of
space. Is there a Moblin standard way of determining where applications should
be installed?

Thanks.
