Hi All,
As we all know that, contrail system could provide vxlan encapsulation
communication between two VMs in two different Computer nodes. At the same
time we cloud allocate Floating IP from public networks which is external to
public network by Simple GateWay using GRE/UDP Encapsulation. If we changed the
encapsulation type into vxlan, The vm could not access the public by Simple
gateway. the vrouter in Simple Gateway node reported invalid VNI.
I want to know was there someone did layer3 vxlan gateway successfully with
Simple Gateway or other switch. The Juniper provided the TORAgent solution to
communication with OVS by ovsdb protocol. This implemented lay2
inter-communication between virtual networks and physics network. but it did
not provided layer 3 access function.
If you have other similar method and share with me, that's very great.
