Hello,

We do not have that problem yet in our deployments but we may start facing it
in the future. So, we do support this feature request.

Thanks for driving the BP.

Subject: [opencontrail-dev] New Spec on "RD Collision w/ Compute Node IP
Address Reuse"

Hello -

In large scale OpenContrail deployments, compute nodes are typically assigned
IP addresses from a private range (e.g. 172.16/12). The same IP range is often
reused across data centers. This poses a problem when these data centers are
inter-connected through a hierarchical BGP topology. We are submitting specs to
address this issue.

Launchpad Blueprint:
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/juniperopenstack/+spec/user-defined-rd-range

Bug# 1679198

Thank you.

Sandeep
