Edward is a technical manager/lead at Lenovo Datacenter Group, who is responsible for Lenovo OpenContrail SDN solution. Recently Edward led his team delivering a PoC deployment at a university in China with Lenovo ThinkCloud and Big Data integrated. Edward has led his team to become major contributors to OpenContrail, including security scans and fixes. Going forward, Edward is planning to do the followings, in addition to contributing to the community: 1. Regular security scans and fixes. 2. Work with OPNFV APEX team to incorporate OpenContrail into its release distribution images. (Lenovo is a Platinum OPNFV member.) 3. Help and facilitate OpenContrail meetup events in Bay Area. Prior to Lenovo, Edward was with Ericsson for DPDK development as well as VMware+OpenStack unified devOps automations. Prior to Ericsson, Edward was an engineering consultant to NTT DoCoMo then a development manager at Symantec for its security gateway.
