When Bill released v20240327 it never got a release announcement. So
here goes:
Changes from v20240221.1 to v20240327:
- Updated Spanish translations.
- librefetch:
+ Only half-worked with makepkg 6.1 (this was subsequently fixed
in v20240403).
- librechroot:
+ now recognizes CARCH=armv7l as an alias for CARCH=armv7h.
- librerelease:
+ librechroot.conf:REPODEST got replaced by
TIER0_{USER,HOST,PORT,STAGING}. (Thoughts on reverting this in
a subsequent release? Long ago (prior to v20130605) it was
separate variables, but folks found that confusing because they
all are configuring just one location, so we condensed it into
just one REPODEST variable. Though it is now clear that if we
do go back to REPODEST, we will need better docs on when it is
appropriate to change the userinfo part.)
+ Now unconditionally creates a background SSH connection, it is
no longer nescessary to have librechroot.conf:HOOKPRERELEASE
create such a connection (this will likely be reverted in a
subsequent release, so that ssh-agent users don't need an extra
connection sticking around).
+ Has a new `-C` flag to clean the remote staging area (a
complement to `-c` which cleans the local staging area).
+ Now sends much better notification text to pbot.
- conf.sh (`$(librelib conf)`):
+ Got an include-guard, so it is safe to include multiple times.
- default librechroot.conf:
+ Some improvements to the comments in the file.
+ The list of REPOS used by toru (and thus dagpkg) got updated to
match Parabola's current list of repos.
+ Changes associated with the above librerelease changes.
