Status changed from open to invalid That file is a example generated from grub-mkconfig command, that file is useful as reference for some users that like edit grub.cfg manually. I ran grub-mkconfig to see if there were any differences with my current configuration, but it was the same. Was this file supposed to be updated? Is it safe to delete the pacnew file, since my system boots well with the configuration I already have?
