I'd be interested to know if this is fixed in the CVS version already,
but I've discovered the problem that I was having with my RoundCube
installation (I'm using Courier IMAP, btw).
I haven't looked in to why, but the problem is in the set_flag method in
rcube_imap.
Basically, it looks as though the method for setting a flag is causing
Courier (and thus RoundCube) to freeze.
I removed the content and did a "return true" and I can now read emails
without a problem - but they obviously always show as unread ;)
Hope that's of use to someone. I'm going to have a look at what could be
going wrong, myself, while I'm not doing anything useful.

I've managed to test my issue a bit further, and it's
not quite what I thought.
My first login is fine, but if I try to open a mail
message it hangs.
This appears to be in the IMAP server - but I can't
confirm that yet.
Until the IMAP server (or whatever) times this
connection out, I can't use RoundCube for anything
except for viewing the login screen and (sometimes)
the inbox (cached in MySQL, I'm guessing).
The MySQL server is fully responding, but I can't test
the IMAP server properly from where I am.

Similarly, I use qmail and was previously using IMP
without any problems.
I installed RoundCube last night and all seemed
well,
but this morning I get a loop whenever I try to log
in.
This is true for all accounts, all of which are
local
users.
The MySQL processes shows that RoundCube connects
but
then sleeps.
Unfortunately I don't have access to any other logs
at
the moment.
Is this a known bug and is there a fix
available/planned?
Thanks
