If you have not enough time, it could be a problem. But think that you or Thomas could act only as the Organization Administrator. You are not obliged to mentor anyone, so you don't need so much time. :) You can choose some RC developers (at least they don't have to be RC devs but you have to trust them) to act as mentors. Anyway, as I read, you are quite decided to not participate. I'm looking for a project to (try to) be involved during this GSoC and RC is a very great project.
