It worked out of the box on my development host running SVN trunk. Definitely a very good starting place for an admin panel, or at least some sort of status/debugging interface.
The log file interface is nice, but using that on my production hosts wouldn't work so well - I have multiple systems behind a load-balancer. Log aggregation of some sort would be a requirement. Anyone feel like a database logging plugin?
