Not sure if I get you right. So you would apply to remove this function
from the Larry skin again, because...

Opposed to you, I'm pretty often in the situation that I need to add this
or that recipient to this or that field while composing a mail. For that
purpose, I used to use ;-) the compose_addressbook plugin. The pure
existence of this plugin proves that there are others than me who are in
need of this functionality, as Core Bosman did not create it upon my
personal request.

Unfortunately, this plugin doesn't currently work with 0.9-git anymore - at
least not without any problem (dead buttons).

If you will personally consider it or not: It should be a general guideline
for the development of Roundcube, that all functions should be available in
all skins.

And if the majority of the developers should find a functionality
"useless", then it should not be availabe in either skin.
