Hm. this is confusing, but i agree with you now, looking at the code.
I don't think the changeset i'd offered should have any effect.
And indeed, testing it now i don't see any difference. I reverted the
change on my installation, and i'll follow up more if i still run into
the problems i was seeing earlier somehow.
