These are definitely true. All I know is that it's VMware :)   But im 
interested. What do you do in that infrastructure when your roundcube load 
exceeds the capabilities of your vmware host server? Do you buy a larger vmware 
host server?
We have 60.000 simultaneous webmail users in peak, so these questions always 
interest me.  In our experience it's much cheaper to scale horizontally instead 
of vertically.

Well, maybe a little. Not as much as you obviously. 

Anyways, we digress.  You want specific functionality that isnt really in the 
interest of most of the roundcube community. That's ok, we have that often as 
well. There is two ways to go about that. Either you ask nicely and hope 
someone wants to help you, or you code it yourself and send a pull request 
through git.  I think your best bet at this point in the discussion is the 
latter.
