It remains for 2024.0.0 that exponents in scientific notation are generated as
"D" instead of "E". For example,
--> 1.0E-6 * 1.0E-6
 ans  =

   1.000D-12
while it should be "1.000E-12". It makes Scilab's results in scientific
notation unrecognizable when pasted on other software, because the accepted
standard is "E", forcing the user to manually change D by E. This bug has been
present in Scilab for at least 17
years<https://groups.google.com/g/comp.soft-sys.math.scilab/c/IWauBUesVjU>.
In the same way writing numbers in files with the uppercase "E" for scientific
notation with fprintfMat is not accepted yet (issue
17062)<https://gitlab.com/scilab/scilab/-/issues/17062>
Maybe both bugs are related?
