Hi, If you don't know who am I, let me introduce myself.
I am co-maintaining more than 200 packages for an "other profile" of tizen (currently outside tizen.org). And some of them overlap with those on tizen.org. Of course it will benefit all profiles if this kind of job was factorised once in the public repo. For instance there is libgee who is also used by IVI profile and a request was reported some months ago to use the version I have https://bugs.tizen.org/jira/browse/TINF-175 Since there is a will to open tizen maintenance to all contributors. I am candidate to test this process, (I am unaware tizen.org has external maintainers yet, are there ?) So, Please tell, How a developer can apply for (co-)maintenance of an existing project ?
