What if, you test Galaxy S3 in Landscape mode and with full screen image? I
believe in that case there should not be any control element displayed over
sceen
as it is automatically makes it full screen. Also, in case of S3 the screen
height & width as well as image height & width are in symmetry.

One more question, how will be the display on TV, when you keep "screen
casting" device in landscape mode & auto rotation is on? Also, how it will
render in case of portrait image?
IMHO, in this case symmetry between device & TV is lost as one stands in
Portrat mode & display is in Landscape mode. To understand clearly, it needs
demonstrate more use cases.

Title : [Dev] Proposal "image casting" as Tizen 3.0 differentiation feature

Problem:
Standard Miracast defines screen mirror feature only, the contents showing in
TV and Phone are always the same, this user experience is *bad* for some high
frequent usage cases like viewing images or watching videos.

Proposal:
We have optimized the image viewing user experience while doing Miracast,
please see screenshots below (or the attachment), and now proposing it as one
of the Tizen 3.0 differentiation feature.

Terms:
To simplify the discussion, we name standard Miracast as “screen casting”, and
image viewing usage case as “image casting”. We might have “video casting” or
“audio casting” features in the future.

Your comments and suggestions are highly welcome!
