multiple layers of software involved and gps receivers can be rather finicky
we stuck with what we know. It would be good to have more documentation for
ABM and the gps plugin. Is it actually using the gpsd libraries?
The beauty of gpsd is that is manages non NMEA Gps (low cost, network
and NMEA 4 multiplexed connections).
When it comes to test, that's really nice.
