[Dev] avahi-daemon not runnning

Title: Samsung Enterprise Portal mySingle

Facing a issue on running the avahi-daemon.

Below is the snapshot log while running the avahi-daemon.

I have added user name as avahi in /etc/groups and /etc/passwd.

 

Error Log Snapshot

sh-3.2# avahi-daemon     
Found user 'avahi' (UID 114) and group 'avahi' (GID 114).
Successfully dropped root privileges.
open(/var/run/avahi-daemon//pid): Permission denied
Failed to create PID file: Permission denied

 

Also tried changing the username and groupname as root and verified the error log remains the same.
