Thanks for advise.
I meant that so far weston related packages are maintained by intel
mainly. sorry for using "control". :)
yeah absolutely you're right.
BTW, today morning I tried to create a ticket and assign it to Jose. But
I couldn't.
I can't select him as assignee. But yesterday there was no problem to
assign.
I hope someone can explain what's happening between yesterday and today.

That's good news. If other guys also agree, I can open a ticket.
One question. who should I assign for this ticket?
To what I understood about "governance of opensource projects"
maintainers would be the one to assign by default
(that's what jira is supposed to do isnt it ?)
And if they believe it's risky or could affect others part of project
then It would make sense to throw the question at architect levels
Philippe, do you know who is a proper person to make decision for
upgrade?
In this case I would invite to assign to "Dominig le foll" directly
and then ping me if you need more actions or help if something is
stuck in the pipes
As I know, wayland packages are under control of intel and eurogiciel
I wont use the "control" word :-) the packages are co-maintained
So of us are belonging to some domains (and then assigned as
maintainers) ,
but it's open to co maintainance
anyone can try to join by editing the scm's and try to get the change
accepted.
I previously shared some notes about this role :
https://wiki.tizen.org/wiki/Maintain
If everyone agrea that information I just explain could be there too..
Hope this help
