Hi Joel,

These links are from the Tizen Native Programming environment which is not
supported in IVI.

Kevron’s response is spot on, the way to get this to work is to enable
additional codecs for Crosswalk (specifically the ones that need EULA set to 1).

Subject: Re: [Dev] Video Media Playback in Web Application

The popular H.264 codec (.mp4) is supported by Tizen: Supported Multimedia
Formats<https://developer.tizen.org/dev-guide/2.2.0/org.tizen.native.appprogramming/html/guide/media/support_multimedia_format.htm>

I think the Tizen::Media::Player
class<https://developer.tizen.org/dev-guide/2.2.0/org.tizen.native.apireference/classTizen_1_1Media_1_1Player.html>
 (is this an extension?) needs to be included in order to enable the
functionality however.

There is a way, but it involves recompiling gstreamer-plugins-* (good, bad and
ugly) and enabling the codecs that have been disabled because of IP/licensing
restrictions.

I am able to get video to playback in the ogg video file format but none others
it seems. I'd like to play other formats. Is there a way to add codecs to the
filesystem so that others will play? I'd like to add mov and mp4 playback to
the system. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
