I can't remember a clear outcome of our former discussions. :-) This way we'll loose entire support for building in Visual Studio and such on Windows, generation of project files etc. This worked in the past at least. I think I can live with that, the old project files are still around and can be provided in the repo and the cpptasks currently used for supporting Visual studio and such is not maintained anymore.
