Vladimir, You can't "take over" a Log4j component any more than I can or anyone else. We have the Apache Logging Services top-level project [1] and Log4j 1 and 2 are two of its components, as are Log4cxx, Log4Net, and so on. Gary [1] https://logging.apache.org/ > > Vladimir
