The icecream example showing that this is not a 'perfect' solution even for english does not show its a bug in my opinion either. I still vote to make this an option. Or make another QueryParser that works with more languages, and I guess with less 'biased' english language operators. The whole idea of the new QP was to make that type of thing easy if I remember right. bq.
