Hi Thomas,
Can you give a little more info?

Which Lucene.Net version do you use?
Which analyzer do you use while indexing?
Which analyzer do you use while searching?
Can you provide us with a sample text?

Or better, can you send a *small* code to regenerate your case?

Subject: Odd search results in Lucene.net 2.9.1

Hi.

We are seeing a strange behavior when searching for a specific name.
Having the name Patschinsky in a document and searching for
Patschinsky - OK
Pa* - No Results
Pat* - OK
Patc* - No Results
Patch* - No Results
Patchi* - No Results
Patchin* - No Results
Patchins* - No Results
Patchinsk* - No Results
Patchinsky* - No Results

We have tried other words and it seems like the pattern is following. When
there is an a as the second character it is not found correcly according to
the above sequence

Any ideas ?

Regards

Thomas Guttesen
