Steve Rowe commented on SOLR-3854: ---------------------------------- bq. Seems like adding HttpClient wasn't necessary - was able to compile and run tests without it. Quick patch to revert: Thanks Steve, I came to the same conclusion and also successfully ran all core tests without this redundant dependency (since {{solrj/lib/\*.jar}} is included in Solr core's compile classpath, and so also its test classpath). I'll commit shortly. > SolrCloud does not work with https > ---------------------------------- > > Key: SOLR-3854 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-3854 > Project: Solr > Issue Type: Bug > Reporter: Sami Siren > Assignee: Mark Miller > Fix For: 5.0, 4.7 > > Attachments: SOLR-3854.patch, SOLR-3854.patch, SOLR-3854.patch, > SOLR-3854.patch, SOLR-3854.patch, SOLR-3854.patch, SOLR-3854.patch, > SOLR-3854.patch, SOLR-3854.patch, SOLR-3854.patch, SOLR-3854.patch, > SOLR-3854v2.patch, SOLR-3854v3.patch > > > There are a few places in current codebase that assume http is used.
