patch when time permits.
A note about deleting attachments, comments, and other things: Because Apache
develops completely in the open, we prefer to keep all historical data in Jira
unless there's a really compelling reason to delete it. Sometimes the trail of
how we arrived and the mistakes we made getting there is just as important as
the final solution.
When you attach a file that has the same name as a previous version, Jira
automatically greys out the download link for previous versions. See SOLR-2906
for an example of a patch that went through a number of revisions.
