This does *not* use NIOFSDir! open() is a static factory method on FSDirectory,
just inherited to NIOFSDirectory. This static method uses the default directory
impl for your operating system and bitness.
To use NIOFSDirectory explicit, use the constructor to create it: {{FSDirectory
f = new NIOFSDirectory(file);}}
