Ok, cool - just wanted to verify I wasn't missing something obvious. If an 
indexing client can give a hint that tells Solr "hey, I'm going to be sending 
in new docs in bulk", optimize for that, I think that's a valid case to 
support. Agreed on addressing performance for the general case too.
