Erick Erickson commented on SOLR-5507: -------------------------------------- [~upayavira] Grabbed the code from your fork and compiled. The index.html URL gives me just a json response. Which is fine if that's what you expect, I know it's still very early going. I'm wondering though whether I'm missing a library or something, in which case I'll just be patient ;) Here's a thought though. IMO, the biggest shortcoming of the current UI is that it's not SolrCloud-friendly. What do you think about prioritizing spiffy new SolrCloud-friendly stuff before replicating the current functionality? True, people would be flipping back and forth between the two for a while, but spiffy new cloud stuff would add functionality... It's up to the people doing the work of course, this is just a comment from the "peanut gallery", people doing the work get to decide ;)... Either way, the infrastructure needs to be in place first I'd guess. Thanks for taking this on! Wheeeee!
