Uwe Schindler commented on SOLR-6870: ------------------------------------- bq. And yes, happy to do mdtext the Lucene files as well. Should those files be moved under site/ or stay at the Lucene root? You are talking about SYSTEM_REQUIREMENTS.txt? The original intention behind this file was to give somebody extracting the ZIP a human readable txt file. This was the reason for leaving it in root folder and have it the all-uppercase name with ending txt. I am fine with moving the files and name them mdtext. My primary intention is to have the assets/ folder in Lucene, too (which contains logo). assets/ is much better than "html". > remove/fix currently broken solr/site/html/tutorial.html ? > ---------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: SOLR-6870 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-6870 > Project: Solr > Issue Type: Bug > Reporter: Hoss Man > Assignee: Erik Hatcher > Priority: Blocker > Fix For: 5.0, Trunk > > > {{solr/site/html/tutorial.html}} still exists in the source repository, and > is still being included & linked in the published javadocs, and being > mentioned in various README.txt files -- even though SOLR-6058 obsoleted this > file with https://lucene.apache.org/solr/quickstart.html > We either need to clean this file up, or update it to reflect reality (ie: > {{bin/solr -e foo}} ... if we do remove it, we need to audit the various > README.txt files and ensure they refer people to the correct place to find > the "tutorial" -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@lucene.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@lucene.apache.org
