What does this mean? I guess the way I see things, either you need the scoring, 
and you need all the matches... or you do not need scoring and you only care if 
the doc matches the expression or not.

Was this -1 case intended to optimize the latter? Because I think we solved 
that issues with needsScores (or needsFreqs or whatever we want to call it).
