I have been working on some of the suggestions here for decreasing the
artifacts sizes. I spun off separate issues as many suggested. Note that all
of these are only for binary releases. Please comment there if you have
opinions on those specific ideas:
* LUCENE-6257 - Remove javadocs
* LUCENE-6258 - Remove zip or tgz
* LUCENE-6259 - Remove dependencies
