Mark Miller commented on SOLR-2018: ----------------------------------- I don't know when this went away - but it was a long time ago. I'm thinking it's best to rip from both 3 and 4 - and add it back when someone gets the itch and wants to figure out if it makes sense. Unless someone has that itch right now. I don't, but I'd probably do the rip work. > waitFlush="false" currently doens't work > ---------------------------------------- > > Key: SOLR-2018 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-2018 > Project: Solr > Issue Type: Bug > Affects Versions: 1.4, 1.4.1 > Reporter: Hoss Man > Fix For: 3.1, 4.0 > > > circling back on an old mailing list thread... > http://search.lucidimagination.com/search/document/24ef53e6e66d3a41/optimize_with_waitflush_false_and_waitsearcher_false_takes_a_long_time > according to miller and koji, SOlr doesn't currently pay any attention to the > "waitFLush" option when doing a commit/optimize. > Prior to the next release, we either fix this, or document that it changed > (when did it change?) and rip out that code -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - You can reply to this email to add a comment to the issue online. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@lucene.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@lucene.apache.org
