Resolution: Not A Problem
The configuration under
solr-5.0.0\server\solr\configsets\sample_techproducts_configs\conf has the
configurations required that uses ClassicIndexSchemaFactory (reading the
physical schema.xml) instead of using the ManagedIndexSchemaFactory.
