Agreed, I will make a branch, it will take time. I still want to improve tests
around this as well.
Some new tests from LUCENE-6507 are better, but to me its still not ideal. I
think we should move to a kind of BaseLFTestCase like our other important
classes and each impl has a subclass with additional tests for its own
pecularities.
