Yea, this has been a problem for ages. Hadoop uses Guava 11.0.2, which will
have compatibility issues with newer versions. HADOOP-11656 exists to try and
alleviate the issue, but I don't see that landing soon. Not sure what to
suggest for fixing this locally in the meanwhile.
