Bernd, is it possible for you to produce some sort of reproducible test that
demonstrates the problem?
Then we could try to track down wherever the problem is with xml.
Because when I use solr with unicode outside the BMP (the example test
documents), I'm not seeing this issue... but there could be some
boundary-related problem in jetty or solr. SOLR-1489 was an example of this.
