Mike: since the ref guide is now up 2 80% of the mirrors, and i still haven't seen ANNOUNCEMENT emails from you, i'm going to go ahead and update the 5.5 release annoucnement text to include the ref guide notes (and site news items) rather then send out a seperate announcement.
