Hmmm, I've tried changing '=' to ':' for the key... but things now fail because
of tests in trunk w/ syntax like
_explain:nl_
Also, why is testAugmentFields in SolrExampleTests (the stuff that tests the
example)?

non-binary response writers are tested, right?
