Sr Java Developer
Location: Philadelphia PA

Below are the requirement details.
The Sr. Software Engineer (SOLR) is responsible for the development (coding)
of programs, significant to the very difficult in complexity, that support a
business application.  This position is a self-motivated professional that
contributes to highly skilled teams in all phases of software engineering,
from requirements definition through the deployment and operation.  
•       Writes and reviews business requirements and technical specification
documents for thoroughness and accuracy.
•       Perform coding to written technical specifications for significant to
highly complex business and/or technical requirements or problems.
•       Investigates, analyzes and documents reported defects in own code and 
that
of Software Engineers, Developers and Interns.
•       Creates, maintains, and reviews all technical documentation.

Requirements
•       Minimum of  5+ years of Java programming experience; 7-10 years total
professional experience desired.
•       Hands-on senior level open-source Java Developer, experienced in SOLR 
and
Lucene open-source search engine 
•       Sold understanding of how SOLR is implemented 
•       Strong understanding with the indexing side of the search engine
capabilities. Cross-referencing of messages being sent back and forth for
end-users and borrowers.
•       Technologies:
o       Open-source Java/ J2EE 
o       SOLR, Lucene 
o       Apache/ Tomcat 
o       Camel or related 
o       Restful Web Services, Developing and Consuming 
o       Understanding of Security (OAuth 2.0 for authorization purposes or
similar) 
o       NoSQL architecture and design knowledge.
•       Agile Software development experience
•       Demonstrable Software Development experience
•       Knowledge of database architecture and design
•       May require experience working with Agile Methodology projects
•       Ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification
documents.
•       Ability to code software according to published standards and design
guidelines
