Amrit Sarkar updated SOLR-10858:
--------------------------------
Attachment: SOLR-10858.patch
{quote}
I wonder if there should be a larger discussion (not expressly for this
particular URP) about this overall. For example, what should the conventions be
on parameter naming? <abbreviatedUrpName>.<paramName> ? Should abbreviated URP
names be initial lowercase (thus "uuid" not "UUID"). I think so.
{quote}
Seems neat. If we agree on keeping lowercase <abbreviatedUrpName>, I will make
changes to AtomicURP and TemplateURP too: SOLR-9530.
{quote}
And is there a way to have an URP registered multiple times with different
configurations each? Perhaps up to some factories.
{quote}
With request handler parameters being supported in URPs, factory's config
param(s) can be overridden at runtime resulting creation of multiple instances
of URP with a new configuration each time, right?
New patch uploaded with above suggestions and backward compatibility enabled.
> Make UUIDUpdateProcessorFactory as Runtime URP; take params(s) with request
