Ishan Chattopadhyaya updated SOLR-10282: ---------------------------------------- Attachment: SOLR-10282.patch Updated patch removing all nocommits. In short, this patch does the following: # If there is an accessible ZK (either via a running Solr or via -zkHost parameter), upload security.json. If not, just print the contents of security.json that user should upload himself/herself. # Update the include file with the given configuration string (Solr startup parameters). # Instruct the user to restart any running Solr nodes. This feature can be made smarter later (e.g. guided wizard that even helps user write up the jaas configuration files). This is quite close now. I'm planning to commit this soon. > bin/solr support for enabling Kerberos security > ----------------------------------------------- > > Key: SOLR-10282 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-10282 > Project: Solr > Issue Type: Improvement > Security Level: Public(Default Security Level.
