Sounds like it would be a good idea for Solr to include at least one
back-compat test.
Based on all available info, I think it would fail this way with an index from
any 6.x version.
With an index from 4.x, loading fails. That's expected. The message correctly
refers to the index format.
With an index from 6.3.0, the failure is the same as with 6.6.x.
